More than one million kids around the world have discovered one of the most fun clubs ever created for them. The Adventurer Club is designed to strengthen parent-child relationships for kids ages 4-9 by providing specialized weekly activities tuned into the psychological needs of this age group while simultaneously giving parents opportunities for learning parenting skills and enjoying special activities with their children.
World Adventurer Day
For years Adventurers and Adventurer leaders have been waiting for a special world event to celebrate what it means to be an Adventurer. We are proud and excited to announce that we now have a World Adventurer Day! This event will take place every third Sabbath of May. It is a special day to let our Adventurers enjoy being Adventurers and to show others the blessing they are to our church and our community. Make sure to check on this page regularly on the months leading up to World Adventurer Day for resources created specifically for you to use in your local church and centered on the theme for that specific year.
The volunteer leadership attend special training sessions to understand how to maximize the focus of the Adventurer Club in strengthening the parent-child bonds and enable both parents and children to understand their relationship to God.
Activities
Each child is encouraged to participate in all activities and parents/guardians are given assignments along with their child. There are many age-challenging activities on the Adventurer menu. These range from games and outdoor activities to nature exploration and family camping, field trips and community service projects. General Conference Youth has adopted the “I Will Go” logo of the world church for the next five years. “Like arrows in the hands of a warrior,” (Psalms 127:4) our youth and young adults are designed by God to be sent into the world with the three angels message (Revelation 14:6-12). This urgent and prophetic message lifts up Jesus as the world’s Savior and His free gift of righteous by faith.
We also call upon young people to go and be the “Hands and feet of Jesus” in their local churches, on campuses, in the cities, as well as in the unreached countries of the world! In these trying times, the world need Adventists more than ever! We fervently pray that every Seventh-day Adventist young person from ages 4 to 30 will join the world church in saying “I Will Go!”
