Returning trust

Alt Text

Isaiah 12

Chapter Summary

Returning trust

Sometimes God does have to rebuke us. Afterwards, we can give thanks with Isaiah, that “although You were angry with me, your anger is turned away and you comfort me.” Has there been a time in your life when you felt this way? How did you work to change afterwards?

Day 339

Thank You, God for caring enough to try to change my direction. I promise to listen and learn and try not to make the same mistakes again.

Isaiah 12

KJV

12 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
