Praise for God’s Holiness

Psalm 99

Chapter Summary

Praise for God’s Holiness

This deeply reverent psalm could be used as a doxology. Perhaps it was. It exalts and praises God, and then gives a brief overview of His holy, lawgiving presence in Israel’s past. There is an interesting combination of justice and mercy in verse 8. What do you think about it?

Day 225

Holy God, You are high above the angels, the peoples, and all planets and galaxies in the heavens. Yet You come down to us, speaking to us, caring for us. Amazing!
