[Read the rest of this article...] jonanany posted on November 03, 2011 07:57 August 12-16 marked an unforgettable week for the more than 700 Adventist youth leaders who traveled from every corner of the Pacific to attend the third Move With The Power youth leadership summit in Brisbane, Australia. Move With The Power 3 (MWTP3) was designed to provide training and professional development for all leaders involved in youth ministry, however, MWTP3 was more than just a leadership event; it was marked by a central focus on prayer and a seeking of the Holy Spirit. It was proved to be a deeply transformative event for all who attended. [Read the rest of this article...] jonanany posted on November 03, 2011 07:40 Around the world, young people are stepping up in amazing ways to make a difference for Jesus. Several of these moments were witnessed at the 2011 South Caribbean Conference Youth Convention.
Ten-year-old Shafiqua Williams, a non-Adventist Pathfinder member, had delivered a presentation at an earlier Pathfinder fair that left the youth leaders so impressed, they asked her to present the Sabbath school message for the convention.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit and on fire for Jesus Christ, Shafiqua delivered an inspiring message. Under the theme of the Great Controversy, she underlined the times in which we live and challenged youth and leaders alike to make a greater commitment to the message of the Seventh-day Adventist church. [Read the rest of this article...] jonanany posted on November 01, 2011 14:31 The work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the East Russia Union Mission is relatively new; it was organized in 1994. Its territory is divided into three missions, namely, Central Siberia Mission, East Siberian Mission, and West Siberia Mission. The work in this union is very challenging. In this vast territory with a population of 22,268,723, we have only 94 Adventist churches with 6,690 church members, with a ratio of one Adventist among 3,328. The total number of young adult Adventists in Siberia is 438. The report was given that during the year of 2010, they baptized 40 young people and in 2011, they baptized 35 people. The theme of the camporee was “Faith Adventure, Walking with Paul,” based on the four journeys of Paul. The mission statement for the camporee was “To accept the challenge by following Paul’s life to enjoy new ways of being winners with Jesus.” The goals of the camporee included helping Pathfinders to keep the faith, to finish the “race,” to rejoice in the Lord, and to share their hope in the second coming of Jesus. It is really difficult to determinate the number of websites running on the net, but I’ve found an approximate number. It seems that in February 2007, the Netcraft Web Server Survey (http://www.boutell.com/newfaq/misc/sizeofweb.html) founded 108,810,358 distinct websites. That’s more than one year ago, it means that we have much more websites at the moment we are upgrading ours. [Read the rest of this article...] silviasicalo posted on January 05, 2009 15:02

[Read the rest of this article...] silviasicalo posted on January 05, 2009 15:00 A very pleasant Happy New Year 2009 to you all! 2008 has plunged into history and will never come back again. So many youth activities had been initiated and done in 2008 and had been recorded and placed in the archives for our future reference. We thank God for all His dealings with us, for giving us victories as well as allowing us to experience some challenges in the past. We welcome the coming of the year 2009 with enthusiasm and great expectations because we know that we are one year closer to the coming of our Grand Master Guide, Jesus Christ. [Read the rest of this article...] silviasicalo posted on January 05, 2009 14:50 We see it in all our activities and in the lines of the youth we minister to –feelings or emotions. Our young people today live in a culture of “feeling good.” They want to sing songs that make them feel good. They want preachers who make them feel good, they want youth activities that make them feel good.
