Magulilo Mwakalonge, Director
East-Central Africa Division
I’m a Tanzanian, born and raised in the Seventh-day Adventist family. My ministerial training is in Theology, both at the bachelor and master levels.
Before joining the Youth Ministries department of East-Central Africa Division in November 2011, I served the church as a local district pastor, and a departmental director of a conference, union, and division. I admire and highly value Youth Ministry in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is through this ministry that I came to know and love the Lord and this church so much.
I love young people. I love their passion, receptivity, and determination. I strongly believe that if we generously invest on the youth, giving them spiritual leadership, equipping them for service, and integrating them in all aspects of church life, we will in a short while finish our work here on earth and go to our eternal home to live with our Lord.
I am happily married to Winnie, and we are blessed with two young girls: Grace and Gladness.

Louise Nocandy, Associate Director

I am a Bible worker who has been serving in the IAD for thirty years. I worked in my home territory in the Guadeloupe Conference for more than nineteen years as a Bible worker, teacher, a principal of primary schools, and a Conference Youth and Personal Ministries Director. Over the next eleven years, I worked at the French Antilles Union as a Children and Youth Director. As of June 2010, I became an employee of the IAD headquarters where I am working as the Associate Youth Director.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology at the Seventh-Day University of Haiti and a master’s degree in Youth Ministry at Andrews University. Now I am working on a doctorate in Youth Ministry at Andrews University.
I enjoy going to the beach, walking, reading, and organizing big events. I would like to have more time to practice clarinet.
My dream is to see that the church catch the vision to become an open place of worship for everyone and where every component is trained to become an agent of transformation for the society.
God gave me a passion for the youth. I like their love for God, their strength, their spirit of adventure, their spontaneity, their desire to follow a guide, and the fact than you can trust them.
